On June 20 and 21, the third training session on the rescue of rare and endangered wild animals was held in Dapeng New District, Shenzhen. The event was sponsored by the National Aquatic Wildlife Conservation Association, and was co-organized by Dapeng New District Economic Services Bureau and Shenzhen Institute of Guangdong Ocean University. A total of 160 people from nature reserves, scientific research institutions, domestication and breeding bases, aquarium staff and environmental volunteers from all over the country participated in the training. Experts from Hong Kong Ocean Park, Taiwan aquarium industry and related domestic industries conducted training on rescue technology and knowledge of disease treatment of cetaceans and pinniped aquatic wild animals, On-site rescue of stranded aquatic animals, and demonstrations and actual operations.
