Recently, the national agricultural and Rural Ministry announced 19 new aquatic products approved in 2017.“Xinghai -1”, the new variety of Litopenaeus vannamei, cultivated by the prawn breeding and research team of the Shenzhen Institute of Guangdong Ocean University, has officially obtained the certificate of new aquatic product issued by the Ministry of Agriculture. It is reported that the Litopenaeus vannamei "Xinghai No. 1" has the characteristics of strong adaptability, fast growth rate, high survival rate and stable genetic character. It is suitable for aquaculture under various conditions in China's aquaculture environment.
