Prof. Yu Xiaoqiang from the University of Missouri, USA visited our institute for academic report

On January 31st, professor Yu Xiaoqiang of the University of Missouri, who is an internationally renowned expert who has been engaged in the innate immunity signal pathway research for more than 20 years, visited the Shenzhen Institute of Guangdong Ocean University to give an academic report. The report was chaired by Lu Yishan, vice president of the research institute. Xiao Baohua, vice president, and more than 20 scientific researchers attended the conference.

With the theme of “Toll/Toll-like receptor signaling pathway”, Yu Xiaoqiang vividly introduced the relevant contents and research progress of the innate immune signaling pathway, and the in-depth penetration and widely used of the “innate immune signaling pathway” in the life sciences. The content of the report is based on the research frontiers of the molecular mechanisms related to life sciences. It teaches the innate immune signaling pathway, the regulation of the expression of immune-related genes, and the host-pathogen interaction mechanism. It is the frontier of innate immunity in recent years.

Yu Xiaoqiang, Professor and Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, School of Biological Sciences, University of Missouri (Kansas Campus), USA, has been engaged in innate immunity research for more than 20 years, and has made some original contributions in the immune signaling pathway. Has a high reputation internationally.

Prof. Yu Xiaoqiang has long been dedicated to innate immunity research and published more than 110 SCI papers. The total SCI impact factor exceeded 360. The article was cited more than 4,000 times.
