On August 6-10, the second meeting of the “National Action Plan for the Accurate and Responsible Application of Aquatic Drugs” hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Thirty-seven experts from international organizations including China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Croatia, India, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Ireland, as well as FAO and NACA (Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific Asia-Pacific Fisheries Center) participated in this meeting.
At the meeting, Lu Yishan, vice president of the Shenzhen Research Institute of Guangdong Ocean University, made two reports: "China's aquatic drug application and drug resistance monitoring" and "China's livestock and poultry polyculture model status analysis", and participated in Technical Discussion on Tilapia in Hazard analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) of Farmed organism about Salmon and tilapia.
